I don't do a whole lot of sepia images... some antique color sometimes but most of the time I like bright, bold, contrasty color. So this was fun to play around with! I knew I wanted something evocative, with a lot of emotion, to capture the interest without the use of color. I decided on this one of my daughter, age 4, on the wooden "marsh walk" that leads out onto the intracoastal waterway in NC... one of our favorite places to be! I love the moodiness of the image and the sepia tone actually suits it really well.
